Description

Vice President – Direct Originations

Location: Remote

Industry: Equipment Finance and Leasing

Position Overview

Altius Search Group is recruiting an experienced equipment finance originator on behalf of a well-established and growing equipment finance company.

The Vice President – Direct Originations will be responsible for developing new equipment finance relationships directly with middle-market and larger commercial businesses. The successful candidate will identify capital equipment requirements, develop relationships with senior financial decision-makers, and structure financing solutions that support each client’s operational and strategic objectives.

This is a true new-business-development role for an established originator who can independently build a pipeline, open new relationships, and manage opportunities from initial prospecting through credit approval, documentation, and funding.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop new equipment finance business directly with middle-market, large corporate, private equity-sponsored, and other commercial clients.

  • Build and manage an active pipeline through targeted prospecting, referrals, existing industry relationships, and strategic business-development initiatives.

  • Establish relationships with CFOs, treasurers, controllers, procurement leaders, operating executives, private equity sponsors, and other senior decision-makers.

  • Identify upcoming capital expenditures, technology investments, facility expansions, automation projects, and equipment replacement requirements.

  • Structure equipment loans, leases, and customized financing solutions based on each client’s financial objectives and operational needs.

  • Prepare and present financing proposals that clearly communicate the proposed structure, pricing, and overall value to the client.

  • Work closely with credit, operations, documentation, asset management, and senior leadership to move transactions efficiently from the initial opportunity through funding.

  • Gather the financial, operational, and transaction information required to develop complete and compelling credit presentations.

  • Maintain ownership of the client relationship throughout the transaction process and provide consistent communication to all stakeholders.

  • Expand existing relationships by identifying additional equipment categories, locations, business units, and financing requirements.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, production forecasts, calling activity, and account-development plans.

  • Represent the company professionally at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and other business-development activities.

Target Markets

The originator will have the flexibility to pursue opportunities across a variety of equipment-intensive industries, potentially including:

  • Manufacturing and industrial equipment

  • Technology and information systems

  • Data centers and AI infrastructure

  • Distribution and warehouse automation

  • Healthcare and patient-care technology

  • Construction and commercial equipment

  • Education

  • Transportation

  • Private equity-sponsored portfolio companies

Requirements

Candidate Qualifications

  • Established experience originating equipment finance transactions directly with commercial end users.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently generate new business and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.

  • Existing relationships with middle-market companies, larger corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, or senior financial decision-makers.

  • Proven record of producing meaningful annual equipment finance volume.

  • Strong understanding of equipment loans, finance leases, tax leases, and other commercial financing structures.

  • Ability to evaluate financial statements and understand cash flow, leverage, liquidity, collateral, and the business purpose behind a transaction.

  • Experience structuring and presenting transactions to credit and senior management.

  • Ability to sell consultatively and communicate value beyond pricing alone.

  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, judgment, and follow-through.

  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.

  • Willingness to travel as necessary for client development and relationship management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced direct originator with a portable network of commercial relationships and a history of generating consistent equipment finance production.

The individual should be entrepreneurial and self-directed while also working effectively with internal credit, documentation, and operational partners. Candidates should understand how to develop business directly with middle-market and larger companies rather than relying primarily on broker, vendor, or bank-referral channels.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Join a growing independent equipment finance company with experienced industry leadership.

  • Ability to originate across multiple industries and equipment categories.

  • Flexible underwriting and the ability to evaluate complex business models and transactions.

  • Responsive credit decisions and an efficient transaction process.

  • Opportunity to develop direct relationships with middle-market and larger commercial clients.

  • Entrepreneurial environment with access to senior leadership.

  • Competitive compensation structure with meaningful performance-based earning potential.

Compensation

The company offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary, performance-based incentive compensation, and comprehensive employee benefits. Specific compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, relationships, historical production, and anticipated contribution.

Sales Commercial Partnerships Manager - EMEA at Yuno

Manages strategic partner relationships across EMEA, sources qualified pipeline, and drives co-selling opportunities to unlock revenue with acquirers, payment providers, and banks.

Mid Remote Posted about 12 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Remote in Europe, Full Time, Individual Contributor, +5 years of experience

Who We Are

Yuno is the AI-native operating system of global commerce, powering the financial infrastructure of enterprise merchants, banks, and wallets. With a single API, Yuno connects them to pay-ins, payouts, fraud prevention, KYC/KYB, and stablecoins globally, so they can operate everywhere with a single integration.

Agnostic by design, Yuno offers connectivity to 1,000+ payment methods and 460+ integrations in 190+ countries, optimizing acceptance rates, reducing costs, and strengthening security through specialized AI agents that learn from every transaction on the network. Global brands run their payments on Yuno, including Arcos Dorados (McDonald’s), NetEase Games, GoFundMe, inDrive, and Rappi. Banks, acquirers, PSPs, and wallets use Yuno to modernize their infrastructure without replacing core systems and to prepare for the next generation of commerce, including agentic payments.

About The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Partnerships Manager to join our growing European team. You will own a portfolio of strategic partners — acquirers, alternative payment methods (APMs), banks, and fraud & risk providers — and turn those relationships into revenue: qualified pipeline into Yuno, joint go-to-market with the partner, and direct commercial opportunities where the partner itself becomes a Yuno customer.

This is a commercial role, not a relationship-maintenance one. You will be measured on pipeline sourced, deals unlocked, and revenue converted.

Your contribution will be

Partner portfolio ownership

  • Own end-to-end relationships with a defined portfolio of Europe partners and act as their primary commercial point of contact.

  • Build and maintain joint account plans with each strategic partner: shared target lists, named opportunities, agreed cadence.

  • Track portfolio health on commercial terms — live volume, sourced pipeline, revenue share earned, opportunities in flight — and act where a partnership is not producing.

Lead generation and co-selling

  • Source qualified leads through the partner network against a quarterly target, working the partner’s own merchant base and commercial teams.

  • Run joint pipeline sessions with partner sales teams to surface merchants where Yuno unlocks a deal the partner cannot close alone.

  • Build referral and co-sell rails with partners, including shared incentive structures and clear routing of leads in both directions.

  • Design and execute joint go-to-market campaigns — co-marketing, joint events, account-based pushes on named targets.

  • Work with Yuno’s sales teams so partner-sourced leads convert, and stay accountable through to close.

Upselling Yuno to partners

  • Identify and develop commercial opportunities where the partner is the buyer: acquiring banks, wallets, and fintechs adopting Yuno’s orchestration and value-added services such as tokenization, account updater, and smart routing.

  • Own and convert the end-to-end commercial cycle on these opportunities, from qualification through to signature, with support from Sales on complex deals.

  • Negotiate partnership agreements, revenue-share models, and commercial terms alongside legal and finance.

  • Expand existing partnerships beyond their original scope — new markets, new products, new business lines.

Market and cross-functional

  • Feed commercial and market requirements back into Product so the roadmap reflects what wins deals in NA

  • Provide intelligence on competitive dynamics, partner capabilities,  and Europeanpayment trends.

  • Represent Yuno at industry events and convert that presence into pipeline.

  • Run QBRs and joint planning sessions focused on pipeline and revenue commitments.

Skills You Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in partnerships, business development, or a senior commercial role within the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.

  • Evidence of carrying and hitting a commercial number in a partnership or BD context: pipeline sourced, deals closed, or revenue share delivered. Bring the figures.

  • Experience selling to payment providers or banks, not only through them.

  • Demonstrated track record of independently managing strategic partner relationships with acquirers, payment processors, APMs, banks, or fraud solution providers — including commercial negotiations with senior and C-level stakeholders.

  • Deep experience in the European payments market is required, including familiarity with the local acquiring landscape, and industry standards

  • Strong understanding of the payments value chain, including acquiring, issuing, scheme networks, and alternative payment methods.

  • Ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguity: identify opportunities, structure the approach, and convert into signed deals with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level counterparts.

  • Ability to manage multiple strategic relationships simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Data-driven mindset with ability to define, track, and report on partnership KPIs.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Legal, and Commercial teams.

Sales Senior Account Executive at Astra Finance

Owns complex B2B SaaS enterprise sales cycles in fintech, managing multi-stakeholder deals from prospecting through legal and closing.

Senior Posted about 12 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Astra

Astra is building mission-critical infrastructure for moving money at scale. Our platform processes billions in annual transaction volume with 99.9%+ uptime, powering real-time transfers, bank debits, card disbursements, and complex financial compliance systems. We provide APIs and automation tools that enable businesses to move money programmatically while maintaining strict regulatory requirements.

The Role

We’re looking for a high-performing Senior Account Executive who thrives in complex B2B sales environments and knows how to win in fintech. As a senior member of our Sales team, you will own our largest and most complex opportunities and help set the standard for how Astra sells. You will work closely with Astra leadership and operate as a relentless “hunter” to identify opportunities, clearly articulate and educate our value proposition, and close key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in B2B SaaS sales, experience selling payments or financial technology solutions, and a disciplined, data-driven approach to managing pipeline and forecasting. You have carried multi-stakeholder enterprise cycles through procurement, technical review, and legal, and you have displaced an incumbent provider more than once. If you’re competitive, consultative, and energized by closing meaningful deals, we’d love to talk.

What You’ll Do

  • Become an expert in all things payments, from how the Astra platform works to the various payment rails and routes.

  • Own the full cycle on Astra’s most strategic opportunities, from first touch through procurement, technical review, legal redlines, and signature.

  • Lead executive-level presentations and technical deep-dives.

  • Multithread across the economic, technical, and compliance buyers so that no deal rests on a single champion.

  • Develop creative outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities.

  • Sell consultatively and competitively, staying proactive and strategic throughout the sales cycle. Build and defend the business case against both the incumbent and the option to do nothing.

  • Forecast with discipline. Commit to dates you can defend and state the assumptions they depend on.

  • Leave no stone unturned - you’re a self-starter and take the initiative to get things done before being asked.

  • Dig into the customer’s business and uncover the intrinsic motivations that enable you to position the right solution with confidence.

  • Be a multiplier for the business by channeling the voice of the customer internally to influence product roadmaps and go-to-market strategy.

  • Raise the bar for the team. Share what works, help onboard new AEs, and contribute to the playbook as we build it.

  • Apply AI tools to sharpen your research, automate workflows, and increase your overall output.

  • Collaborate closely with our Integrations, Engineering, and Compliance teams for seamless sales and onboarding execution.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, including at least three years selling payments or financial technology to enterprise or upper mid-market buyers.

  • A track record of closing larger, multi-stakeholder deals, including navigating procurement, RFP questionnaires, and legal redlines without losing momentum.

  • Executive presence. You can present to a C-suite audience without a deck carrying you, hold a thread under interruption, and answer the question actually asked.

  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and consultative sales with strong discovery skills, empathy, and the ability to close business.

  • Fluency in technical product sales within the FinTech or Payments ecosystem. You can translate rails, settlement timing, and program mechanics into money and time for the customer, and say plainly what we cannot do.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence that enable you to build trust fast and speak confidently with stakeholders at any level.

  • Focused and disciplined approach to outbound outreach, allowing you to build and accelerate pipeline independent of inbound demand.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity - you bring your own structure, and you are still coachable.

  • Highly collaborative and team focused, efficiently coordinating with external partners and internal resources.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% annually.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation with equity in a growing fintech company.

  • Remote-first culture with flexible working arrangements

  • Small team, big impact — your work directly supports Astra’s ability to scale responsibly

  • Professional growth opportunities in compliance and risk management

  • Mission-driven — build infrastructure that powers financial innovation while meeting the highest regulatory standards

Remote Work and Culture

Astra is a remote-first company hiring only within the U.S. We value thoughtful collaboration, clarity, and initiative. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.

You are someone who owns a market from its business case through to its commercial performance in operation. You are equally at ease negotiating terms with an operator’s executive team, scoping the integration with their technical team, and running a service management review once the market is operational.

You will work in close coordination with our legal, finance, product, engineering and core network teams, as the local networks you establish need to interoperate with Airalo’s existing platform and services.

  • Prepare and run the rollout of new markets, from launch readiness through to first commercial traffic

  • Hand over each launched market to our NOC and operations teams, and run regular service management reviews with host operators covering network quality, SLA compliance and incident performance

  • Perform escalations in case of network quality issues and availabilities

  • Define and perform reconciliation processes between host operator invoices and Airalo’s own usage records

  • Define and run traffic, revenue and cost analytics per market, and report performance against business case

  • Renegotiate commercial terms with host operators as volumes grow and market conditions change

  • Develop and maintain a repeatable market entry playbook, and methods to assure unification of conditions and agreements

Must-haves:

  • 5 years minimum relevant experience in the mobile telco industry, in a commercial, wholesale or business development role

  • Having personally negotiated and closed at least two wholesale or MVNO agreements with host mobile network operators

  • Proven ability to build a market business case, including subscriber lifecycle assumptions, traffic forecasting, wholesale cost modelling, margin and payback, in close cooperation with Finance

  • Proven ability to present and defend a business case and its assumptions to a leadership team and to host operator executives

  • Experience owning commercial performance against forecast after launch, including contract renegotiation as volumes grow

  • Ideally having served within an MVNO, MVNA or MVNE, or on the operator side selling wholesale to them, with hands on mentality

  • Working knowledge of full MVNO and light MVNO architectures, including core, HSS/HLR, IMSI ranges, numbering and interconnect, and of the commercial trade-offs between them

  • Good overview in Telecommunication Network technologies like Mobile Core (PGW, IMS, Voice GW, HSS), OSS & BSS, and eSIM provisioning

  • Understanding different Mobile Network Generations like 2G, 3G/UMTS, 4G/LTE, 5G NSA and 5G SA and how they influence customer experiences

  • Ability to lead technical scoping and service management discussions directly with host operators, covering integration scope, launch dependencies, SLA definition and ongoing service reviews

  • Understanding the regulatory requirements on providing mobile services, including numbering, portability, emergency calling and lawful interception, and familiar with KYC processes for mobile subscriptions

  • Experience in a fast moving environment such as a startup, scale-up or challenger MVNO, with the ability to run several markets at different stages in parallel

  • Excellent English skills; in writing, speaking and reading, business fluent

  • Willingness to travel internationally occasionally to meet host operators

Good-to-have:

  • Having taken an MVNO from signed agreement through to live commercial traffic and first subscribers

  • Established working relationships with host mobile network operators and national telecom regulators

  • Experience selecting, contracting or managing an MVNE platform vendor

  • Prior ownership of a P&L or a country level budget

  • Master Studies and/or MBA highly preferred
