Product Technical Product Manager - DevEx at Wave Mobile Money

Lead engineering productivity and developer experience by defining product goals, metrics, and roadmaps while identifying and implementing AI solutions to remove friction for internal teams.

Mid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Our mission

We’re making Africa the first cashless continent.

In 2017, over half the population in Sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That’s for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.

We’re solving this by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don’t always work, you can still send money with Wave. In 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. Now, we have millions of users across 9 countries and are growing fast.

Our goal is to make Africa the first cashless continent and that’s where you come in…

How you’ll help us achieve it

Your mission is to make it dramatically easier for our engineers to ship features and learn from them quickly, securely, and reliably. You’ll aim for small-startup speed while meeting the quality bar of a large financial institution. Velocity here means removing friction and toil from the path between idea and learning, not asking people to work harder.

AI is a big part of the opportunity, and we’re looking for a PM who is optimistic about its possibilities but pragmatic about what actually works. The goal is not to adopt the latest shiny AI tool; it’s to deeply understand your internal users, experiment, and honestly evaluate what solves their problems, whether that’s AI, process changes, or boring tooling that just works.

The Technical Product Manager - DevEx will:

  • Lead a team of engineers with full ownership of how we deliver new features for our users and use AI solutions to remove impactful friction for our engineers and product managers.
  • Define product goals, metrics, and roadmaps based on user needs and mission impact.
  • Drive user research within our engineering and product teams.
  • Write clear, compelling design docs and facilitate async, fast-moving decision-making.
  • Over-communicate context, priorities, and decisions to ensure team alignment.
  • Adjust priorities quickly based on feedback, experiments, or new learnings.
  • Solve problems holistically, whether through product features, ops tooling or process changes.

In this role, you’ll…

  • Own the developer experience holistically, including any internal or external tooling needed to support it.
  • Research and implement solutions for how we can use AI to remove engineering and development friction.
  • Build your own prototypes to test ideas where possible.
  • Relentlessly gather feedback (by talking to users and looking at data) to deeply understand the problem space and our engineers’ and product managers’ needs.
  • Work from first principles to understand the engineers’ and product managers’ biggest problems and then figure out how our tooling should work to solve those problems.
  • Prioritize the biggest problems blocking the engineers’ and product managers’ productivity and the impact on delivering value to our users fast and securely.
  • Directly manage the DevEx team to help them grow in their careers, partnering with the Tech Lead, who will own the technical bar.

Key Details

  • This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be based in one of our talent hub countries (UK, Spain, USA (East Coast), Canada, Kenya and Ghana) or in one of our operating markets in Africa including Senegal, CĂ´te d’Ivoire, or Burkina Faso

  • Wave provides a yearly $1,200 stipend to support co-working meetups with teammates.

  • Remote team members are expected to travel to our operational markets (e.g. Senegal or CĂ´te d’Ivoire) at least once per year. Exceptions apply, but we’ve found this key to understanding our users and product.

  • Our salaries are competitive and are calculated using a transparent formula. For this role, depending on your level and location, we offer a salary up to $237,500 USD, plus a generous equity package.

  • Major benefits:

    • Subsidized health insurance for you and your dependents, and retirement contributions (both vary from country to country).
    • 6 months of fully paid parental leave and subsidized fertility assistance.
    • Flexible vacation, with most folks taking between 21-30 days per year.
    • $10,000 annual charitable donation matching.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of product management experience and hands-on engineering background (you’ve shipped production code) or direct PM ownership of a developer experience, or developer productivity function.
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle, such as user research, design, implementation and evaluation.
  • Speak fluent English
  • Bonus if you:
    • Have proven experience with successfully rolling out AI-based solutions in a larger org
    • Have professional experience in a consumer fintech company

You might be a good fit if you

  • Resonate deeply with how we do product and have experience working that way.
  • Are continuously iterating on using AI in real workflows with honest evaluation.
  • Are a strong communicator who can inspire and lead by influence.
  • Are great at coordinating across teams and excel at communicating across multiple cultures.
  • Take ownership for outcomes and do whatever you can to make them close to inevitable.
  • Have strong instincts for asking questions that could move the needle.
  • Have the courage and persistence to replan when feedback or new information arrives.
  • Always listen with empathy but ruthlessly prioritize based on impact.

Product Product Manager — Service of Process at ABC Legal Services

Own discovery, requirements, and cross-functional coordination for service of process products including mobile apps, web portals, and enterprise APIs.

Mid Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About ABC Legal Services ABC Legal Services is proud to be the national leader in service of process. We are a team of 1000 and growing with offices in Los Angeles, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Chicago, Washington DC, and more. Seattle is our home and headquarters. We’ve been successful in this unique business for over 30 years and we continue to advance our technology and business processes to remain years ahead of what our competition is able to offer. Our focus is to expand our technology lead, acquire and integrate less efficient competitors, and tap into new segments through an integrated inbound marketing and sales approach.

Job Overview

ABC Legal is a tech-forward, tech-enabled legal services business — we use technology to power a core operational service, not the other way around. We’re hiring a Product Manager to help own one or more of our Service of Process product line: the mobile app process servers use in the field, the customer-facing web portal, the enterprise APIs our largest clients integrate with, and the proprietary platform that powers job assignment, routing, task management, and evidence chain.

Reporting directly to the CTO as a Product Manager, you will own discovery, requirements, cross-functional coordination, launch readiness, and outcome accountability — not backlog grooming and engineering coordination. You’ll work directly with process servers, our operations team, enterprise customers, and engineering, Our product team today sits closer to the execution side of product and is strong at delivery, lighter on discovery, market insight, and outcome ownership. Part of your role is to model what upstream product work looks like at ABC.

Why This Job Is Interesting

Every job we run is a physical-world logistics problem — get a real person to a real address, at a time they’ll actually be there. Our product has to serve a distributed field workforce, a demanding set of legal customers, an internal operations organization of hundreds, and a court system that has different rules by county.

We’re also further into production AI than almost anyone in this industry: dozens of AI agents run live today across service validation, document handling, evidence review, and operational decision support. You’ll help decide where that belongs in the product — and where it doesn’t.

Key Responsibilities

Own your product area end to end

  • Own outcomes, not just output, for your area of the Service of Process product line like the APIs and integrations our largest clients build against, and the proprietary platform behind job assignment, routing, task management, and evidence chain, as well as the customer web portal and our field mobile app.

  • Set and defend the priority order. Decide what gets built, what waits, and what we stop doing

  • Maintain a rolling roadmap that survives contact with reality: sequenced, tied to business outcomes, revised openly when the evidence changes.

Run your own discovery

  • Get into the field. Ride along with process servers, sit with the operations teams who work jobs all day, and watch customers use the product.

  • Run structured discovery with customers — interviews, win/loss input, support themes, usage data — and turn it into a written point of view about what to build and why.

  • Serve two distinct user populations: external customers who want speed, price, and certainty, and internal operators whose throughput determines whether we can deliver it.

Turn insight into shipped software

  • Write the requirements: crisp problem statements, success criteria, edge cases, and the operational and legal constraints that apply by jurisdiction

  • Own the backlog for your team(s) within our SAFe cadence: features and stories, acceptance, iteration planning, and PI planning.

  • Work directly and daily with mobile, web, and backend engineering. Break work into releasable increments, unblock decisions fast, and make tradeoff calls

  • Own launch readiness end to end: rollout plan, internal enablement, support readiness, migration and backfill, and a defined rollback path.

  • Own release quality for your area. We have no separate QA team: you decide what needs testing and to what depth, shape the test approach, and coordinate the business owners and operations partners who validate the work in their own domain.

  • Make the go/no-go call, and confirm after release that what shipped does what the requirements said and that the customer and operational outcomes you predicted show up in production.

Partner with Operations as a first-class customer

  • Treat internal operations as a product surface with real users and real cost. Tooling that saves an ops team minutes per job compounds across hundreds of thousands of jobs

  • Find where automation, better routing, or better decision support removes manual work — and quantify what that work is worth before committing to it

Ship AI into the product responsibly

  • ABC runs AI in production today across service validation, evidence review, document handling, and operational decision support. Own where AI belongs in your product area

  • Define the accuracy bar, the human-review path, and the failure behavior for every AI-assisted feature before it ships. Default to advisory; earn the right to automate by clearing a threshold you set in advance.

  • Hold AI features to the same outcome accountability as everything else: measured agreement with the qualified human who would otherwise make the call.

Measure, and be accountable to the measurement

  • Define the success metric for every initiative _before_ it ships, and name the dashboard where it will be watched.

  • Pull your own numbers. You’ll have direct access to our analytics environment and reporting to decide what worked and what didn’t and act on it

Manage risk and compliance

  • Understand the regulatory and evidentiary texture of this business: jurisdiction- specific service and filing requirements, chain-of-evidence integrity, proof of service standards, and the handling of sensitive case and party data.

  • Identify compliance and operational risk early and design around it — a product decision that creates a defect in a proof of service is a legal problem, not a bug.

  • Ensure changes clear the appropriate cross-functional review before release.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–7 years of product management experience, including at least one product spanning multiple technical surfaces (e.g. mobile + web, or a field/consumer app backed by a core platform).

  • Demonstrated track record of running your own discovery and turning it into shipped requirements — not just executing a spec you were handed.

  • Comfortable working directly with engineering across mobile, web, and backend teams simultaneously.

  • Hands-on backlog ownership in a scaled agile environment — writing and accepting work, running iteration planning, and participating in quarterly planning. SAFe specifically is a plus; scaled agile of some kind is expected.

  • Experience with B2B APIs, integrations, or platform products — versioning, developer-facing documentation, integration partners, enterprise technical requirements. This is where the role is most likely to center.

  • Comfortable with data. You can pull your own numbers and build your own view rather than waiting on an analyst. SQL is a plus, not a requirement.

  • Evidence that you’ve raised the product bar around you — introduced a discovery practice, moved a team from output to outcomes, or influenced peers and leaders who don’t report to you. This role carries a change mandate, not just a delivery mandate.

  • Experience owning release quality without a dedicated QA team behind you — scoping what to test, running UAT with business stakeholders, and holding people who don’t report to you to a testing commitment. If you’ve only shipped with a QA org catching things downstream of you, this part of the job will be a real adjustment.

  • Some go-to-market experience — comfortable partnering on launch messaging, sales enablement, or customer rollout, not just handing off a shipped feature and moving on.

  • Experience navigating a cross-functional sign-off or impact-review process before release, or a clear point of view on why one matters.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Native mobile product experience (iOS/Android), especially apps used by a field workforce in real working conditions.

  • Experience building for internal operators — where the product’s users are colleagues and their throughput _is_ the business.

  • Experience shipping AI-assisted features, and a clear point of view on where automation should and shouldn’t replace human judgment.

  • Legal services, legal tech, process serving, litigation support, courts, or another regulated / compliance-heavy industry background. Genuinely a plus, genuinely not required — we’ll teach you this domain.

Benefits

We know that a company’s success starts with its employees. We also know that an individual’s success starts with the right career opportunity. Join our team today!

  • Health, Dental, Vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company matching

  • Paid time off

  • 7 Paid company holidays

  • 4 Floating holidays per-year

  • Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance

  • Long Term Disability

  • Health Care Reimbursement Flexible Spending Account

Product Product Manager — Service of Process at ABC Legal Services

Own discovery, requirements, and cross-functional coordination for legal services product lines including mobile apps, web portals, and enterprise APIs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen, experience in SaaS product management, and a passion for working in K-12 education technology, specifically in driving efficiencies in back-office systems and processes for K-12 school districts.

In this role, data and analytics are the product, not a feature of one. As the Product Owner for our Advanced Analytics offering, you will work with school districts and education service agencies to build and maintain a platform that enables them to create their own data products while also developing ours. The foundation of this offering includes our data lakehouse, reports, dashboards, and the advanced capabilities that sit on top of the data. You will also partner with other Product Owners across the organization to support their analytics and reporting needs. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized, data-driven, and customer-focused individual with experience working with data platforms at scale.

We welcome candidates from a variety of locations; however, all candidates should be open to occasional in-person participation for business meetings, team events, or collaboration opportunities. Candidates located within approximately 35 miles of Rochester, NY may be asked to work from the office more frequently based on business or team needs.

Compensation

$90,000 - $140,000

  • Works with the Product Director to translate high-level company vision and strategy into actionable product plans.

  • Partners with Customers to identify and prioritize needs, documents them as epics with requirements and acceptance criteria, and works with Engineering and UX to break them into plannable features and stories while serving as the Customer advocate throughout development.

  • Validates that solutions deliver meaningful impact against Epics and strategic goals, and coordinates with documentation, training, support, and marketing to prepare for release.

  • Where appropriate, facilitates user acceptance testing and/or feedback demonstrations of work prior to release, collates and assesses feedback, and reshapes team priorities as needed to maximize value for the customer.

  • Serves as a product SME for service, sales, and marketing, and represents SchoolTool externally at User Groups and Conferences to present features and gather customer feedback.

  • Actively facilitates and participates in team retrospectives and the continuous improvements of our organizational structure, processes, and tooling to drive greater operational efficiency and value for our customers.

  • Applies an AI-first mindset by effectively leveraging AI-assisted tools and technologies to enhance productivity, accelerate problem-solving, improve quality, automate routine tasks, and drive innovation in the delivery of solutions and services.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills over complex topics with both internal technical team members and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational / prioritization skills with the ability to prioritize incoming requests from multiple channels, manage concurrent projects, course correct for changing priorities via Support and APM tools.

  • Ability to assess how different users consume and act on data and to define solutions appropriate to the user’s context (e.g., compliance reporting vs. operational decision-making vs. self-service exploration).

  • Ability to define data quality, timeliness, and accuracy as product requirements, understanding that these are customer-facing decisions, not just engineering concerns.

  • Ability to define measurable success criteria for analytics features beyond delivery, including adoption, accuracy, and impact on user decision-making or operational efficiency.

  • Ability to work with customers to understand their data and reporting needs at the outcome level, focusing on what decisions they need to make rather than taking requests at face value.

  • Demonstrates sound judgment in the ethical, secure, and compliant use of AI technologies while protecting confidential, customer, and company information.

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner, owning a data platform strategy, including how data is structured, accessed, and used to drive decisions through reporting and analytics solutions (canned reports, dashboards, self-service tools, alerts, data exports) and to drive more advanced product features is strongly preferred.

  • 4+ years of experience in PK-12, strong familiarity with PK-12 data domains, ideally Ed-Fi (SIS, Assessment, SPED, MTSS, Instruction, HR, and Finance), and how they are used to drive decisions for school districts is preferred.

Product Product Manager, Onboarding and Growth at Ashby

Designs and owns the customer onboarding and product-led growth experience, focusing on adoption metrics and cross-role user journeys.

Mid Posted 6 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Hi, I’m Geo, Ashby’s VP of Product. I joined Ashby August ‘26; read more about why I joined here. I’m looking for a growth-oriented product manager to help users onboard and expand their usage of the product.

At Ashby, we have a unique approach to building products (more on that below). As a PM, your primary goal is to eliminate frustration and bring delight to our customers. You’ll work with engineers who deeply understand the customer and business problem and own the solution end-to-end. This means that you spend less time writing detailed specs and more time with customers and doing deep product thinking.

Our unique approach is working. We’re growing >100% year over year and have notable customers such as Notion, Linear, OpenAI, Shopify, and Snowflake. Our growth and retention metrics are best in class among our peers. We’re backed by amazing investors like Y Combinator, Elad Gil, Lachy Groom, and many more!

The Challenge

The surface area of our flagship ATS product is growing, and we are launching new products. This means customers are less likely to organically adopt the things that create value for them.

Historically, onboarding has been human-driven by our amazing Customer Success team. And now, we’re ready to productize our learnings. As Ashby grows, we need a single owner who can think deeply about the customer journey and design the product and email experiences that help users achieve their desired outcomes and get the most out of Ashby.

This isn’t just about onboarding individuals. It requires thinking about how to onboard organizations with different roles and stakeholders with different goals. It’s going to be a fun challenge.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Customer Journey: This role isn’t focused on conversion rate optimization or running A/B tests. Instead, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the entire Customer Journey. Then you’ll design a thoughtful onboarding experience for each role, prioritizing how we can use the product and email to help users at different stages.

  • Product Led Growth: You’ll spearhead our product-led growth motion by working closely with our Customer Success team. They own our human-led onboarding and, in many respects, have designed the first version of this. You’ll also own transactional email (i.e. email triggered by product signals) as it is an extension of the product experience.

  • Adoption Metrics: This is our first-ever product team focused on growth and onboarding, so you’ll be responsible for defining and tracking key metrics to assess whether our onboarding experience helps customers realize value sooner. We have a small but mighty data team that you’ll partner with, but for the most part, you’ll be responsible for defining and analyzing these growth metrics yourself.

  • Product Qualified Leads: You’ll also work closely with our Revenue Operations team to figure out the bridge between product signals that initiate go-to-market activity. You’ll own the definition of a Product Qualified Lead (PQL) and work with the RevOps team to determine how to route them.

  • User Experience: Finally, you’ll own changes to features to make onboarding easier and drive adoption. If you think changing how a given feature works is critical to making onboarding easier, it isn’t off limits. Eventually, we’ll want you to create frameworks and consult with other product teams to help them drive adoption for their product areas.

You could be a great fit if

  • You’ve owned onboarding, expansion, or growth for a B2B SaaS product

  • You have strong product taste, and you think of growth as more art than science

  • You’ve built a growth strategy rooted in principled thinking, research, and data

  • You can show evidence of driving long-term growth results

  • You have an unnatural curiosity and excitement about the end-user and the jobs they do

  • Your written communication skills are excellent

  • You’ve developed product metrics deeply connected to customer value

  • You can point to exceptional relationships with customer success teams

  • You know how to coach and motivate high-agency engineers and drive urgency

We Work Differently

At Ashby, the role of Product Managers is different from what I’ve seen in most product orgs. At a high level, PMs are responsible for shipping impactful product changes at high velocity, consistently and over an extended period. When we think about impactful product changes, our primary goal is to remove frustration and add delight.

At many organizations, PMs are required to write detailed specs that handle every edge case. Designers are required to mock up every pixel. At Ashby, it’s different. We believe individual contributors do their best work when they have a deep understanding of the end user and the business, and ownership of the solution. This is reflected in the engineers Ashby hires: they own projects end-to-end and deeply understand the problems they are solving. PMs are expected to give significant white space in their specs. As a result, PMs can spend less time managing tickets and more time with customers and thinking deeply about the product strategy.

At Ashby, PMs need to be the pace-setters for their product areas. This means they bring a healthy level of impatience and time-paranoia to the table. This does not mean cutting corners or demanding that engineers work unreasonable hours. As a PM, you can help engineers by managing the project scope well, identifying when it’s appropriate to bring in help, or being ruthless about prioritization.

In particular for this role, we think it’s unlikely you’ll be able to A/B test your way to the right solution. We think it’s more likely to build great onboarding through deep thinking. A big part of that is research; you should expect to spend a significant amount of your time researching and understanding customer problems, and then a significant amount of time writing down your thinking.

Finally, Ashby isn’t simply an ATS. Right from the foundations, it was designed to be much more than that. It’s a platform modelled around how organizations (from early-stage startups to massive enterprises) think about recruiting, managing, and retaining top talent. As a PM at Ashby, you should, over time, get familiar with our most common building blocks. You’ll invest not only in product improvements but in platform thinking.

Interview Process

If this also sounds exciting to you, please apply. We review every application and aim to get back to candidates within 2-3 days. For candidates that advance to the interview process here is what you can expect:

  1. Intro Call with Geo (VP, Product) - 30 mins

  2. Product Experience Deep Dive- 45 mins

  3. Assignment

    1. Prepare written assignment (expect to set aside ~2 hours)

    2. Present assignment - 60 mins

  4. Final Round Interview - 2 hours

Mostly focused on cross-functional Interviews to meet more of the team. This is a critical hire for us and a role that will touch a lot of functions - we want to make sure you’ll meet folks you’ll be working closely with

Benefits

  • 10-year exercise window for stock options. You shouldn’t feel pressure to purchase stock options if you leave Ashby —do it when you feel financially comfortable.

  • Unlimited PTO with four weeks recommended per year.

  • Twelve weeks of fully paid family leave in the US. We plan to expand this to employees in other countries as situations arise.

  • Generous equipment, software, and office furniture budget. Get what you need to be happy and productive!

  • $100/month education budget with more expensive items (like conferences) covered with manager approval.

  • $250/month tool budget plus access to Claude, Cursor, and Codex with generous token budgets.

  • If you’re in the US, we offer top-tier health insurance for you and your dependents, with 100% of premiums covered by Ashby. In other countries, we provide high-quality supplemental health insurance for you and your dependents, also fully covered by us.

Ashby’s success hinges on hiring great people and creating an environment where we can be happy, feel challenged, and do our best work. We’re being deliberate about building that environment from the ground up. I hope that excites you enough to apply.

To request reasonable accommodations, please contact hiring@ashbyhq.com.

Ashby provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome people from all backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and abilities.

Ashby is committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. We confirm that this advertisement is for an active, existing vacancy within our organization. Please be advised that we may use artificial intelligence-driven tools to assist our recruitment team in screening, assessing, and selecting candidates for this position.

Product Product Manager, Platform at Astra Finance

Drive product strategy for Astra's payment platform APIs, developer experience, and control plane infrastructure serving fintech builders.

Mid Posted 6 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Astra

Astra is building mission-critical infrastructure for moving money at scale. Our platform processes billions in annual transaction volume with 99.9%+ uptime, powering real-time transfers, bank debits, card disbursements, and complex financial compliance systems. We provide APIs and automation tools that enable businesses to move money programmatically while maintaining strict regulatory requirements.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to drive the evolution of Astra’s platform layer – the APIs, developer experience, control plane, and foundational infrastructure products that sit above the rails and make Astra the Payments Cloud rather than just a payments gateway. This is an IC role with a broad scope: you’ll help shape the architecture of how customers interact with Astra, how they configure and extend the platform, and how Astra scales to serve increasingly sophisticated builders.

You’ll work directly with the Leadership Team and other Product Team members, and partner deeply with engineering, solutions, and go-to-market. The right person thinks like a platform architect, writes like an API designer, and ships like someone who has felt the consequences of a bad developer experience at 2am.

Where You’ll Have Impact

  • Astra’s core API platform: authentication, versioning, pagination, rate limiting, error taxonomy, and the developer contracts that customers build on

  • The control plane product: configuration surfaces, rule engines, programmable routing logic, and the levers customers use to customize money movement behavior

  • Webhook and event architecture: delivery guarantees, retry logic, event schema design, and the observability customers need to build reliable integrations

  • Developer experience: documentation quality, SDK surface, sandbox fidelity, onboarding flows, and the time-to-first-transaction metric

  • Platform extensibility: how customers compose Astra’s primitives – triggers, conditions, actions – to build complex payment workflows without custom engineering

  • Platform reliability and SLA products: how Astra communicates uptime, exposes status, and gives customers visibility into degradation

  • Long-term platform strategy: how Astra evolves from a multi-rail API into a programmable payments infrastructure layer, including agentic payment use cases

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

  • Define and maintain Astra’s API contract philosophy – versioning strategy, backwards compatibility standards, deprecation policies, and schema design principles

  • Write detailed platform specs that engineering can ship from: precise, edge-case-aware, and grounded in how real customers build

  • Shape the platform roadmap – balancing foundational investments (auth, observability, extensibility) against customer-facing features and reliability work

  • Conduct technical discovery with Astra’s most sophisticated customers to identify platform gaps and extensibility needs

  • Partner with engineering to review API design, maintain developer ergonomics standards, and hold the bar on platform quality

  • Work with solutions and implementation teams to understand where customers get stuck, break, or build workarounds – and translate that into platform requirements

  • Drive the developer experience roadmap in partnership with docs, solutions engineering, and DevRel functions as they mature

  • Represent platform strategy in customer conversations, partnership discussions, and technical due diligence processes

What We’re Looking For

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years building developer-facing platform or API products at a technical infrastructure company

  • Deep expertise in API design – REST, webhooks, event-driven architecture – and strong opinions about what makes a platform great to build on

  • Experience owning a platform roadmap across authentication, configuration, extensibility, and observability layers

  • Strong understanding of how infrastructure companies create lock-in through developer experience, not just features

  • Comfort reasoning about systems-level tradeoffs: latency vs. consistency, configurability vs. complexity, generality vs. opinionation

  • Track record of operating as a principal-level IC – setting direction, influencing without authority, and driving outcomes across engineering and go-to-market

  • Exceptional written communication; you can produce a platform spec that is simultaneously a product document and a technical contract

  • Payments context is a plus, not a requirement – but intellectual curiosity about how money moves is required

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to ~15% annually

Preferred Experience

  • Experience building platform products at a BaaS, payments infrastructure, or developer tools company

  • Familiarity with the control plane / data plane architecture pattern as applied to developer platforms

  • Background in workflow or rules-engine product design – if-this-then-that style programmability at the infrastructure layer

  • Exposure to agentic AI use cases and how AI-native systems impose new requirements on payment infrastructure (context, controls, micropayment patterns)

Why This Role Matters

  • You’ll shape the platform architecture of a company that has real ambitions to be category-defining infrastructure – the Snowflake of payments

  • You’ll work directly with the founding team and have a significant influence on product and engineering culture

  • Astra is profitable at Series A – the growth trajectory is funded, not a bet on future capital raises

  • The platform problems here are genuinely hard: multi-rail orchestration, programmable money movement, agentic payment primitives – this is not a CRUD application

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation with equity in a growing fintech company.

  • Remote-first culture with flexible working arrangements

  • Small team, big impact — your work directly supports Astra’s ability to scale responsibly

  • Professional growth opportunities in compliance and risk management

  • Mission-driven — build infrastructure that powers financial innovation while meeting the highest regulatory standards

Remote Work and Culture

Astra is a remote-first company hiring only within the U.S. We value thoughtful collaboration, clarity, and initiative. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.

Product AI-native Product Manager (Remote) at ShortPoint

Technical Product Manager who manages product lifecycle, writes user stories, creates AI-assisted mockups, and bridges engineering, design, and business priorities.

Mid Remote Posted 6 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Description

About ShortPoint

ShortPoint is a design software company that helps teams build beautiful intranet sites inside Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. We are a remote-first, globally distributed team certified as a Great Place to Work and ranked #4 out of 15 Best Workplaces in Technology in the GCC, with regional offices in Dubai, Lviv, Ann Arbor, and London. We believe teamwork makes the dream work, and we keep our teams in sync and winning at scale. We are looking for a meticulous, proactive, and technically grounded Technical Product Manager to join our product team and work directly with our Product Director to keep our product engine running with precision and a great eye for design.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Product Manager to support the Product Director across the full product lifecycle. You will run and manage product meetings, turn ideas and discussions into clear, well-written user stories, create mockups with the help of modern AI tools, and keep everyone informed on the status of upcoming releases.

The ideal candidate combines strong product craft with genuine design sensibility and a solid technical foundation: you can follow engineering discussions with ease, reason about APIs and architecture, and dig into technical details when the situation calls for it. The stronger your technical depth, the better. You will bridge the gap between engineering, UI/UX design, and business priorities, and you should be comfortable working AI-first across your daily workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Execution: Assist with the day-to-day product cadence alongside the Product Director, from meeting management and follow-ups through backlog grooming, story writing, and release tracking

  • Story Writing: Write detailed, unambiguous user stories and acceptance criteria in Linear, and keep the backlog organized and sprint-ready

  • Release Communication: Track release progress across engineering and QA, and proactively inform stakeholders of status, risks, and timelines

  • AI-Assisted Design: Create wireframes and mockups using AI design and prototyping tools, and apply a strong eye for UI/UX to keep the product intuitive and polished (you will be asked to demonstrate this in the interview)

  • AI Process Improvement: Being able to contribute to our processes by utilizing AI (Claude/ChatGPT work) to analyze data, close gaps, and resolve bottlenecks.

  • Total Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on product management experience specifically within software/SaaS environments

Defines and drives brokerage product strategy across Saudi Arabia and GCC markets, managing regulatory compliance and partner relationships.

Mid Remote Posted 8 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who We Are:

Alpaca is a US-headquartered, global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure for stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, fixed income, 24⁄5 trading, and more.

Amongst our subsidiaries, Alpaca is a licensed financial services company, serving hundreds of financial institutions across 40 countries with our institutional-grade APIs. This includes broker-dealers, investment advisors, wealth managers, hedge funds, and crypto exchanges, totalling over 10 million brokerage accounts.

Our global team is a diverse group of experienced engineers, traders, and brokerage professionals who are working to achieve our mission of opening financial services to everyone on the planet. We’re deeply committed to open-source contributions and fostering a vibrant community, continuously enhancing our award-winning, developer-friendly API and the robust infrastructure behind it.

Alpaca is proudly backed by $400 million in funding from top-tier global investors including Portage Ventures, Spark Capital, Tribe Capital, Social Leverage, Horizons Ventures, Opera Tech Ventures, SBI Group, Derayah Financial, Unbound, Peak XV, Elefund, and Y Combinator.

Our Team Members:

We’re a dynamic team of 400+ globally distributed members who thrive working from our favorite places around the world, with teammates spanning the USA, Canada, Japan, Hungary, Nigeria, Brazil, the UK, and beyond!

We’re searching for passionate individuals eager to contribute to Alpaca’s rapid growth. If you align with our core values—Stay Curious, Have Empathy, and Be Accountable—and are ready to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.

Your Role:

Alpaca is building the infrastructure layer that partners across the Gulf use to launch and scale brokerage products. We’re expanding our footprint in Saudi Arabia and the UAE — with live market access, a growing regional roadmap, and ambitions across derivatives, direct connectivity, securities lending, and Sharia-compliant offerings. We’re hiring a Product Manager to own that expansion end-to-end: define the strategy, ship the products, and work with regulators, partners, and internal teams to make Alpaca the brokerage platform of choice across the Kingdom and the wider GCC.

We’re seeking a Product Manager to define and drive new product initiatives and manage a portfolio of existing products across the Saudi and GCC markets. With a deep understanding of the regional regulatory landscape, including CMA, Edaa, Tadawul, and GCC financial market frameworks, you will shape the product strategy that enables Alpaca to scale its brokerage infrastructure across the Kingdom and the wider Gulf region, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the region’s rapidly evolving capital markets.

This role is equal parts strategy and delivery. You’ll decide what we build versus buy, how we sequence the regional roadmap, and which partnerships and connectivity paths get us there — and then ship the brokerage features, integrations, and operational workflows that partners and institutional clients depend on every day.

What You’ll Walk Into

You won’t be starting from zero. You’ll be owning live problems:

  • Saudi limited live:  scaling from initial market access to full product coverage while meeting CMA and Tadawul requirements.
  • The rest of the Saudi roadmap: prioritizing and delivering the next wave of brokerage capabilities across equities, Sukuk, ETFs, and regional market needs.
  • Saudi derivatives: defining and launching derivative product offerings compliant with local market structure and regulation.
  • Saudi direct connectivity:  building and owning connectivity to Tadawul and regional infrastructure, reducing reliance on intermediary paths.
  • Saudi broker partnerships: evaluating, onboarding, and integrating local brokers to expand coverage and resilience.
  • Saudi securities lending business: growing the securities lending product line for the Kingdom.
  • All of the above for the UAE: replicating and adapting the Saudi playbook for the Emirates market, including local regulatory alignment and partner integrations.
  • Sharia-compliant products across Alpaca: owning the product strategy and delivery for Islamic finance offerings, ensuring Sharia-compliant structures are embedded across regional and global product surfaces.
  • Regulatory and stakeholder complexity: engagements with CMA, Tadawul, Edaa, and other regional regulators, plus coordination between Alpaca’s global platform and KSA/GCC market infrastructure.

Things You Get To Do

  • Own brokerage products tailored for the Saudi and GCC markets, including equities, Sukuk, ETFs, derivatives, and Sharia-compliant solutions.
  • Drive brokerage product strategy by analyzing ROI, regional market competition, regulatory requirements, and build-vs-buy scenarios.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap with a focus on CMA-compliant features, Sharia-compliant solutions, and regional market needs.
  • Write product requirements and work with engineers to execute programs that meet local regulatory and market standards.
  • Improve brokerage operation efficiency by providing solutions and owning the metrics, with a focus on regional settlement, custody, and clearing workflows.
  • Lead customer calls around brokerage process and product issues to gain insights and translate them into product improvements for GCC clients.
  • Participate in engagements with the CMA, Tadawul, Edaa, and other regional regulators to drive product strategy and ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Report timely and accurately on product status and results to internal and external stakeholders, including regional partners and institutional clients.
  • Collaborate with local operations teams to ensure seamless integration between Alpaca’s global platform and KSA/GCC market infrastructure.

—

Who You Are (Must-Haves)

  • Excited about what Alpaca is building and passionate about expanding financial infrastructure across the GCC.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, and/or starting a startup, preferably within financial services or fintech.
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in brokerage, capital markets, or fintech within the Saudi or GCC region.
  • Strong understanding of the CMA regulatory framework, Tadawul market structure, and GCC capital markets landscape.
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English, both written and verbal, with excellent collaboration abilities.
  • Business acumen to understand tradeoffs between stakeholders and technology feasibility with time and budget constraints.

Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience and background working on and developing brokerage products in the Saudi or GCC markets.
  • Technical background working with APIs, particularly in financial services or trading platforms.
  • CME-1 or other CMA-recognized professional certifications.
  • Experience working with Qualified Foreign Investor (QFI) programs or cross-border investment products.
  • Familiarity with Sharia-compliant product structures and Islamic finance principles.
  • Experience working at a fintech, startup, or CMA-authorized institution.

How We Take Care of You:

  • Competitive Salary & Stock Options
  • Health Benefits
  • New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500
  • Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card

Alpaca is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.

Product Product Manager, AI Entities at EvenUp

Owns the AI data extraction platform roadmap, partnering with ML/backend engineers to build scalable systems that turn unstructured case materials into accurate structured data for law firms.

Mid Hybrid Posted 9 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

EvenUp is on a mission to close the justice gap using technology and AI. We empower personal injury lawyers and victims to get the justice they deserve. Our products enable law firms to secure faster settlements, higher payouts, and better outcomes for victims injured through no fault of their own in vehicle collisions, accidents, natural disasters, and more.

We are one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in history, and we are just getting started. EvenUp is backed by top VCs, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire, and Lightspeed. We are looking to expand our team with talented, driven, and collaborative individuals who seek to have a lasting impact. Learn more at www.evenuplaw.com.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our AI Platform group and own the systems that turn messy, unstructured case materials into accurate, structured “source of truth” data. This isn’t your typical PM role: it’s highly technical, backend-heavy, and focused on scalable AI extraction and data infrastructure. You’ll work closely with senior ML and backend engineers to build the models, evals, pipelines, tooling, and APIs that power all of EvenUp’s products.

You’ll be responsible for a mission-critical part of our AI strategy: making sure the entities we generate are accurate, consistent, and trustworthy enough for law firms to rely on. If you’ve built ML/LLM-powered data pipelines, love the challenge of turning unstructured input into structured, reliable output, and want broad impact across a fast-growing product org, this role is for you.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of working at least 3 days a week from our San Francisco or Toronto offices. Title and compensation to be determined based on candidate experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the roadmap for a key part of our AI Platform, potentially including RAG services, text and image extraction and analysis services, model evaluation and deployment tools, and more.

  • Partner with ML and backend engineers to build scalable, reliable, and cost-effective systems that support product teams across the company.

  • Define success metrics, analyze performance and cost data , and use insights to inform priorities.

  • Work closely with other product managers teams to understand end-user needs and develop reusable platform capabilities that accelerate AI development.

  • Drive strategic decisions around model performance, vendor selection, and infrastructure scaling in a fast-evolving ecosystem.

  • Define success metrics for entity quality and pipeline performance.

  • Partner with other product managers and downstream teams to understand where entity quality or coverage gaps are limiting product experiences, and translate that into a prioritized platform roadmap.

  • Drive decisions on model performance, annotation strategy, and integration with continuous inference systems as the underlying ML approaches evolve.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including time at a high-growth startup (Series B–E).

  • Experience building LLM/LMM-powered products or data infrastructure, with a strong understanding of how modern AI extraction and structured-data systems work end-to-end.

  • Technical fluency: you’ve worked closely with ML engineers, backend engineers, or data teams and can hold your own in technical discussions about model performance, data pipelines, and system design.

  • Comfort operating in a backend-heavy environment where your “users” are often internal teams and downstream product surfaces, and your work directly impacts data accuracy, reliability, and trust.

  • Analytical mindset: you use data to make decisions and are comfortable managing quality metrics (precision/recall, entity accuracy, coverage) alongside operational ones (latency, throughput).

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with RAG, agentic systems, and/or LLM/LMM optimization.

  • Familiarity with building internal platforms or tools that support other product teams.

  • B2B SaaS background, especially in products with significant AI or data components.

Benefits & Perks:

As part of our total rewards package, we offer attractive benefits and perks to our employees, including:

  • Choice of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for you and your family.

  • Additional insurance coverage options for life, accident, or critical illness.

  • Flexible paid time off, sick leave, short-term and long-term disability.

  • 10 US observed holidays, and Canadian statutory holidays by province.

  • A home office stipend.

  • 401(k) for US-based employees and RRSP for Canada-based employees.

  • Paid parental leave.

  • A local in-person meet-up program.

  • Hubs in San Francisco and Toronto.

(Please note the above benefits & perks are for full-time employees)

Notice to Candidates:

To ensure fairness and proper consideration, we do not accept resumes or expressions of interest via email or social media messages. If you’re interested in a role, please submit your application directly through our careers page .

Please note that EvenUp may use AI notetakers and other recording devices in the recruiting process. If you interview with us, with your consent, we may record your conversations and summarize them into notes for internal use. Recording is optional, and declining will not affect your candidacy.

EvenUp is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to diversity and inclusion in our company. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
