Marketing Performance Marketing Lead at Boldin

Owns paid user acquisition strategy and execution across search, social, and emerging channels, managing budget allocation, campaign optimization, and CAC targets.

Lead Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

[Full-time] • Remote

At Boldin, we believe financial confidence should be accessible to everyone. Money decisions shape our lives, yet too often people are left without the clarity or tools they need to make informed choices. We exist to change that.

Boldin is a comprehensive financial planning platform that helps people understand their financial picture, make smarter decisions with their money and time, and plan for the future with confidence.

With over $20M raised and strong momentum, Boldin is entering a pivotal phase of growth. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven team and help shape the future.

About This Role

We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to own paid user acquisition end to end.

You’ll own the paid budget, the channel mix, and the number. Today, that means search and paid social do the heavy lifting; from there, you’ll decide where we expand next—CTV, podcast, and paid sponsorships, or somewhere we haven’t tried yet. You’ll make that call based on what the data says, not what’s fashionable.

This is a hands-on role with real scope. You’ll be in the accounts, writing copy, setting up landing page tests, reporting out on the numbers, and hitting our CAC targets. You’ll work directly with our Head of Growth, and closely with data, product, lifecycle, and creative partners. If you like to be hands-on while driving the strategy, this is a good fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own paid acquisition strategy and execution across all paid channels, with an initial focus on SEM and paid social, then expanding into CTV, paid sponsorships, and new channels as the data supports it.
  • Own the paid media budget: allocation across channels, pacing, and reallocation away from non efficient spend toward what’s working
  • Run end-to-end campaign management—strategy, build, launch, optimization, analysis, and reporting
  • Optimize account performance through ongoing keyword work, ad copy testing, campaign structure improvements, and bid strategy
  • Build a consistent testing cadence across ad copy, creative formats, audiences, targeting, and landing pages, and turn results into a documented learning loop
  • Partner with product and design to improve landing page and funnel conversion rates, bringing specific recommendations rather than general feedback
  • Manage performance against efficiency targets (CAC, LTV:CAC, CPA, ROAS) rather than top-of-funnel volume alone, and connect paid spend to registrations, trial starts, and new customer revenue.
  • Analyze audience and placement data to find new opportunities and cut inefficient segments
  • Report on paid performance and test results weekly, and translate results into a clear point of view on what we do next
  • Partner with our data team to make sure attribution, tracking, and conversion measurement are trustworthy—and flag it loudly when they aren’t
  • Evaluate and manage agencies, vendors, and tools where they extend our capacity
  • Evolve the acquisition roadmap based on performance, seasonality, competitive shifts, and new audience insight

Requirements

  • 6+ years in performance marketing or paid acquisition, with meaningful time in a consumer/B2C environment
  • Hands-on operator experience in Google Ads and paid social (Meta at minimum; Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, or TikTok a plus)—you’ve built and optimized accounts yourself, not just briefed an agency
  • Track record of owning a paid budget of at least $1M annually and hitting efficiency targets, with specific numbers you can walk through
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable pulling your own numbers from BI or warehouse layer, and able to build your own reporting rather than waiting on someone else
  • Working understanding of attribution, incrementality, and measurement limitations—you know when a number is directional vs. reliable
  • Experience with subscription or freemium business models, and comfort optimizing to downstream revenue rather than lead volume
  • Demonstrated CRO instincts and experience partnering on landing page and funnel testing
  • Clear written communication—you can explain performance and tradeoffs to a leadership audience without a translator
  • Comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving team where you set your own priorities

### Salary Range

$140,000 – $175,000 + Equity + Performance Based Bonus - DOE

We want to be as inclusive as possible in our hiring process. If you don’t have 100% of what we’re looking for, but feel like you’re pretty close to growing into the role — please still apply. If a candidate has only 80% of the skills but a fantastic attitude and perspective, they might be the perfect fit.

Boldin values the unique perspectives and contributions of all individuals and we strive to foster a diverse and inclusive culture. We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including and not limited to people of any race, ethnicity, or national origin, individuals with differing abilities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, gender minorities, women and people from underrepresented communities. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for applicants with differing abilities throughout the recruitment process. If you require any accommodations, please let us know, and we will work with you to meet your needs. We are committed to fostering an environment where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work. If you are comfortable doing so we invite you to share your preferred pronouns in your application.

We’ve also earned TrustRadius Top Rated honors in 2024 and 2025, were named a TrustRadius Buyer’s Choice for 2026, and were featured in Snowflake’s Modern Marketing Data Stack 2026.

With a global presence that includes offices in San Francisco, Denver, London, Sydney, and Lisbon, plus remote employees worldwide, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and encourage you to apply. Learn more about our story and mission on our Culture and About Us pages. Let’s shape the future of customer engagement together!

The Role:

As Principal PMM, you’ll own the overarching AI and Orchestration Innovation narrative for Iterable, connecting individual capabilities into a single, compelling point of view on where AI-driven customer engagement is headed and why Iterable wins.

You’ll drive Iterable’s Tier 1 launches, our flagship releases that establish category leadership, earn analyst and press attention, and give the go-to-market org a unifying story to sell against. Key Responsibilities

Own the AI Narrative

  • Define and evolve Iterable’s overarching AI point of view, which is the connective story that links individual capabilities into a coherent AI story and why we win there.
  • Translate deep technical understanding of how our AI actually works (models, agentic workflows, data/orchestration architecture) into customer value that resonates with both practitioners and executives.

Craft Messaging

  • Craft bold, narrative-driven messaging and positioning that connects AI and orchestration innovation to tangible customer value.
  • Write the Tier 1 launch messaging for flagship AI releases, setting the story every other asset needs to ladder back to.

Market Intelligence

  • Conduct ongoing research into AI market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to sharpen and stress-test Iterable’s AI point of view
  • Partner with product management to ensure the AI narrative reflects real market shifts and informs roadmap decisions

Adoption & Customer Success

  • Drive customer adoption and expansion of AI capabilities through lifecycle messaging and targeted enablement
  • Partner with customer marketing and CS on reference stories and case studies that prove out the AI narrative with real customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 8–10+ years in product marketing at a B2B SaaS company, including ownership of Tier 1 bundled product releases. Prior martech experience is a plus.
  • Experience marketing an AI-native or agentic product, or a platform transitioning from feature-based to AI-managed experiences
  • Exceptional storytelling: a track record of shaping the strategic “why” behind a launch and translating it into messaging that sells
  • Deep, genuine understanding of how AI works, including models, agentic systems, and data architecture, with the ability to translate that into clear, differentiated customer narratives
  • A genuinely AI-forward PMM who is redefining what product marketing looks like by using AI tools in creative, non-obvious ways across research, messaging, and content development
  • Executive presence: comfortable operating as a strategic peer to senior Product and GTM leaders, with sound independent judgment and limited need for oversight

Success Metrics:

  • Market awareness, pipeline, and revenue influence across Tier 1 release launches
  • Adoption and expansion of AI capabilities across the customer base
  • Executive and analyst recognition of Iterable’s AI point of view

Perks & Benefits:

  • Paid parental leave
  • Competitive salaries, meaningful equity, & 401(k) plan

  • Community Impact Days
  • Fertility & Adoption Assistance
  • Paid Sabbatical
  • Flexible PTO
  • Monthly Employee Wellness allowance
  • Monthly Professional Development allowance
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Complete laptop workstation
