  • Proven ability to translate complex clinical, technical, and operational information into clear, practical learning experiences.

  • Experience partnering with clinical subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to develop accurate, effective learning solutions.

  • Hands-on experience developing across learning modalities and technologies, including eLearning tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline); experience with LMS platforms and learning analytics is a plus.

  • A high sense of ownership, strong attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple projects and evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education Senior Learning Designer at BrainPOP

Senior Learning Designer leads instructional design and assessment strategy for educational content initiatives, mentoring junior designers and ensuring quality across learning experiences.

Senior Remote Posted about 12 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

For over two decades, BrainPOP has been trusted by educators and parents worldwide as a source of engaging and impactful learning experiences for all kids. With a presence in over two-thirds of U.S. districts through school and district subscriptions and an estimated annual reach of 25 million students, BrainPOP is empowering kids to take agency over their learning and excel in and out of the classroom.

The company was acquired in 2022 by KIRKBI, the family-owned holding and investment company of the LEGO brand, marking a significant milestone as their first acquisition in the digital learning realm. We are thrilled to continue making learning fun and accessible with the strategic guidance and support of KIRKBI.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning Design, the Senior Learning Designer is a senior individual contributor who drives the learning design work within content initiatives from brief to launch.

The Senior Learning Designer translates strategic direction into coherent design decisions, models craft for the team, and actively upskills other learning designers through feedback. They are a go-to expert in assessment design and instructional quality and a key partner in building scalable AI-assisted content workflows.

This role will be based in NY, NY at the BrainPOP HQ, or remote in the US (Eastern time zone strongly preferred). Occasional travel may be required.

What You’ll Do

Initiative Leadership

  • Own the learning design work within assigned content initiatives—making and documenting key design decisions from brief through launch in partnership with the PM and Senior Director of Learning Design.
  • Translate strategic direction into design frameworks, item blueprints, and content specs that the broader team can execute against.
  • Maintain quality and coherence across a collection or initiative, catching inconsistencies in grade-band differentiation, cognitive demand, and instructional alignment.

Assessment Design & Item Writing

  • Write and review formative assessment items at a level that models craft for the team.
  • Set the distractor logic standard for an initiative; identify systemic quality gaps and address them through specs or direct feedback.
  • Ensure grade-band differentiation is applied consistently across an initiative

Team Development & Upskilling

  • Provide direct feedback on assessment items and learning design decisions, and model the design thinking rationale in a way that builds others’ judgment over time.
  • Build shared resourceswhen a quality gap reveals a systemic need: guidelines, worked examples, rubrics, or short workshops.

AI-Enabled Content Development

  • Partner on AI content pipelines, contributing to prompt design, output evaluation frameworks, and quality rubrics for AI-generated content.
  • Identify where AI tooling can improve initiative workflows and bring concrete proposals to the Senior Manager of Learning Design.

Product & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Represent learning design in product discovery and development within assigned initiative squads.
  • Support on-time delivery by proactively flagging scope, quality, or resourcing risks to the Senior Manager of Learning Design.

You Are

  • A design decision-maker: comfortable making and defending instructional design calls with clarity and rationale, not just executing direction.
  • A craft model: the kind of writer and assessment designer others want to learn from; sets a visible standard.
  • A developer of others: gets satisfaction from building team capacity, not just personal output.
  • Analytically rigorous: can articulate what “good” looks like in reproducible terms and apply that standard consistently across a collection.
  • A strong initiative partner: works fluidly with PMs, editorial, and product without needing constant direction.
  • Digitally fluent: designs for interactive digital environments and is comfortable in CMS and AI-assisted content workflows.

On Your Resume

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Education, Instructional Design, or Curriculum & Instruction.
  • Assessment item writing: Strong portfolio of K–8 formative assessment items for digital learning products, with evidence of quality ownership across a collection.
  • Curriculum design: 7+ years designing K–8 curriculum and learning experiences for edtech; deep knowledge of learning research and classroom application.
  • MLL: Experience in K-8 instructional design and assessment development for multilingual learners for a technology-based product strongly preferred.
  • Standards fluency: Deep knowledge of K–8 standards in at least one core subject area (Science or Math preferred); uses standards as design inputs. Demonstrated understanding of WIDA framework and standards, as well as national (i.e., NGSS, CCSS, etc.) and state-specific ELD standards (CA, TX, AZ) strongly preferred.
  • Initiative or project leadership: Demonstrated experience leading the design work within a content initiative—making decisions, managing quality, and coordinating with cross-functional partners.
  • AI content pipeline experience:Demonstrated experience with prompt design, output evaluation, or rubric design for AI-generated content. Systematic workflow experience required.

Education Training Specialist at Colibri Group

Designs, develops, and delivers training programs for customer service teams, including onboarding, e-learning courses, and live sessions while analyzing performance data to improve effectiveness.

Mid Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At Colibri Group, culture is at the heart of everything we do. Our values Love, Joy, Boldness, Teamwork, and Curiosity—guide how we work together, support our customers, and make a difference in the communities we serve.

Colibri Group is a leader in online professional education, serving more than one million learners each year across a family of trusted education brands. Our Customer Service teams support those learners from the front lines, helping them navigate questions, solve problems, and get the most from their experience with Colibri.

Come Build What’s Next

We’re looking for a Training Specialist Customer Service to help our Customer Service Representatives build the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to deliver exceptional customer experiences across voice, chat, and email.

This is an individual contributor role responsible for new hire onboarding, continuous learning, e-learning development, and performance enablement within a fast-moving Customer Service environment. You’ll build and facilitate learning experiences, identify opportunities for improvement through performance and Quality Assurance insights, and help teams successfully adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working.

We’re looking for someone who can do more than simply deliver training. You should be equally comfortable building an e-learning course from the ground up, facilitating an engaging live session, analyzing where employees need additional support, and consulting with stakeholders to recommend the right learning solution.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable onboarding, e-learning, and continuous learning programs that improve and maintain Customer Service Representative performance

  • Facilitate engaging live virtual and instructor-led training across new hire onboarding, upskilling, process changes, technical topics, and ongoing professional development

  • Partner consultatively with Customer Service leaders, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to identify performance gaps and recommend learning solutions, not simply take training requests at face value

  • Use QA trends, learner feedback, KPIs, and post-training performance data to evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for targeted reinforcement or improvement

  • Maintain training programs and operations, including LMS content, course materials, scheduling, completion tracking, readiness documentation, and updates required as tools, technology, products, and processes evolve

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in training, Learning & Development, Customer Service, contact center operations, or a related environment

  • Hands-on experiencedeveloping e-learning and training content, along with demonstrated experience facilitating live virtual and/or instructor-led learning

  • A strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to translate complex processes, tools, or information into clear and engaging learning experiences

  • A consultative approach to stakeholder partnership, with the confidence to assess needs, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend solutions based on performance needs

  • Strong communication, presentation, organization, and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a collaborative, evolving environment

A bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field is helpful, but equivalent professional experience is equally valued.

Tools, Platforms, and Methodologies You May Use

Experience with every tool or platform below is not required. We are most interested in your ability to build effective learning experiences, learn new technology quickly, and use data to continuously improve training.

  • Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • E-learning and digital content development tools

  • Virtual training and collaboration platforms

  • Microsoft Office and productivity tools

  • Quality Assurance, performance reporting, and learner feedback data

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Own meaningful training programs that directly influence how prepared and confident our Customer Service Representatives are in supporting customers

  • Build both live and digital learning experiences rather than being limited to facilitating preexisting content

  • Work closely with Customer Service, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional stakeholders to solve real performance challenges

  • Help shape learning programs as Colibri introduces new tools, technologies, processes, and customer service models

  • Join a collaborative, supportive team where your creativity, judgment, and ideas are encouraged and your work will have a visible impact

We Encourage You to Apply

You may not check every preferred box, and that is okay! Strong candidates may come from contact center training, Customer Service enablement, corporate Learning & Development, instructional design, technical training, or other high-volume employee learning environments.

However, this role does require hands-on experience developing training or e-learning content and confidently facilitating live learning experiences. If your recent experience has primarily involved coordinating training or delivering materials created entirely by others, this may not provide the depth needed for this particular opportunity.

If you enjoy creating learning experiences, working closely with stakeholders, helping employees grow, and seeing a direct connection between your training and improved performance, we would love to hear from you.

What You Can Expect From Our Hiring Process

We want our interview process to give you a clear picture of the role, the team, and what it’s like to work at Colibri while giving us the opportunity to understand your experience, how you approach your work, and what you’re looking for next.

We do not use AI to review applications. Your application is reviewed by a human on our Talent Acquisition team!! Application deadline: 9/25/26

While the exact process may vary slightly by role, you can generally expect:

1. Recruiter Conversation

An introductory conversation with a member of our Talent Acquisition team to learn more about your experience, career goals, and interest in Colibri. We’ll also share more about the role, team, compensation, and what to expect throughout the process.

2. Hiring Manager Conversation

A deeper discussion with the hiring manager focused on your training and e-learning experience, facilitation approach, stakeholder partnership, and how you approach identifying and solving performance needs.

3. Team and/or Cross-Functional Interviews

Depending on the role, you may meet with future teammates, partners, or leaders you would work closely with. These conversations are designed to explore the experiences most relevant to the position while giving you the opportunity to learn more about how the team works together.

4. Final Conversation and Decision

For some roles, there may be a final conversation with an additional leader or stakeholder. Our Talent Acquisition team will keep you informed about next steps and timing throughout the process.

Our goal is to make the experience thoughtful, respectful, and transparent. We encourage you to ask questions throughout the process—we’re evaluating the opportunity together.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

Colibri Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Education Learning & Development Specialist - Fraud / Disputes at Mercury

Creates SOPs, knowledge base articles, and eLearning modules for fraud and disputes teams, translating regulatory requirements and operational processes into clear training content.

Mid Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About the Team

Transaction Risk Enablement is the shared services function supporting Mercury’s Fraud, Disputes, and Risk UX programs. We build the knowledge base articles, SOPs, and eLearning that frontline teams rely on to do their jobs accurately and consistently — and that hold up to regulatory scrutiny in a financial services environment. This is a small, high-output team doing work that directly shapes how well-documented and audit-ready Mercury’s risk operations are.

Role Summary

We’re looking for a L&D Specialist to join a growing team supporting Fraud, Disputes, and Risk UX. You’ll write and maintain formal SOPs, Guru knowledge base articles, and Articulate-built eLearning — translating operational processes and regulatory requirements into content that’s clear, accurate, and usable by the teams who rely on it every day. You’ll work primarily within one or two of these domains, going deep on the processes and regulatory context that matter most there, while collaborating with Specialists and SMEs across the broader team.

This is an experienced-contributor role: you’ll own content projects from scoping through publication with minimal oversight, exercise sound judgment in ambiguous or incomplete-information situations, and be looked to as a source of regulatory and process knowledge others build on. You’re not just executing a content backlog — you’re expected to spot where standards or resources need to improve and drive those improvements yourself.

This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys both the craft of instructional design and the discipline of regulatory-grade technical writing — and who wants ownership over content that has real operational weight, not just training that gets built once and forgotten.

*Mercury is a fintech company, not an FDIC-insured bank. Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A., Members FDIC.

What You’ll Do

  • Own SOP, knowledge base, and eLearning projects end to end — from initial scoping and SME discovery through drafting, review, sign-off, and publishing — with minimal day-to-day direction
  • Author and maintain formal SOPs following Mercury’s standard template — version control, regulatory citations, sign-off workflow, and publishing to PDF
  • Write and update Guru knowledge base articles as operational job aids for frontline teams
  • Design and build eLearning modules in Articulate 360 (Rise) that train analysts on new and updated procedures
  • Partner directly with process owners, ops managers, and subject matter experts to extract and structure knowledge that often exists only informally — in SME notes, verbal walkthroughs, or partially maintained knowledge base articles
  • Translate relevant regulatory source material (e.g., OCC guidance, Reg E, Reg Z) into procedures that are clear to frontline staff and defensible under review
  • Keep existing content current as processes, tools, and regulatory requirements evolve, and proactively flag where team standards or templates need to improve
  • Manage your own authoring pipeline, prioritizing based on business risk and team dependencies, and navigate ambiguity when priorities or source material are incomplete
  • Participate in and often lead review and sign-off cycles, incorporating SME and compliance feedback into clean, versioned final documents
  • Contribute to shared team resources and standards — templates, style guides, review processes — and mentor other Specialists on regulatory writing and instructional design practices

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years writing SOPs and eLearning in a regulated financial services environment — banking*, fintech, payments, or compliance preferred
  • Hands-on proficiency with Articulate 360 (Rise) or an equivalent eLearning authoring tool; familiarity with Guru, or other knowledge base system.
  • Strong technical writing skills — you can take a complex, multi-step operational process and turn it into a procedure that’s clear, unambiguous, and audit-ready
  • Comfort working from regulatory source material (e.g., OCC handbooks, Reg E, Reg Z)
  • Ability to work from incomplete or informal inputs — SME notes, existing knowledge base content, verbal walkthroughs — rather than requiring fully structured source material
  • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: fraud operations (account or card), disputes/chargeback processing, or risk review
  • Self-directed working style; you can manage a high-volume authoring workload and navigate ambiguous or incomplete direction with minimal oversight
  • Track record of owning a project or workstream start to finish, including making judgment calls when priorities or information are unclear

Nice-to-Haves

  • Direct experience in fraud investigation, disputes/chargeback handling, or risk review at a bank, fintech, or payments company
  • Familiarity with Reg E and Reg Z compliance requirements
  • Experience authoring in Google Docs at scale with formal version control conventions
  • Background supporting a regulatory exam, audit, or compliance readiness effort

What this role involves

The Trainer is our pedagogical and platform expert within the Professional Services (PS) team. Your mission is to empower our clients to build Collaborative Learning organizations by mastering our platform and methodology. You aren’t a technical expert; you are a pedagogical and platform expert who ensures that clients don’t just “use” the software, but master it to drive long-term engagement.

By owning our “One-to-Many” offer (Engagement Academy & Stadium webinars), you ensure that every client, from their first day of implementation, has the knowledge and confidence to make their project a success. You don’t just deliver content; you develop a scalable learning ecosystem that ensures every client gets the best start possible by mastering our Collaborative Learning methodology.

You will work closely with the Customer Success Team and Product teams to ensure our training offer addresses the actual friction points and needs of our client base.

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Master our Platform’s core user experience and the Collaborative Learning methodology

  • Become a platform expert (from a user & admin perspective) and get certified on our methodology.

  • Shadow existing Stadium webinars and Academy workflows to understand the current “One-to-Many” engine.

  • Connect with colleagues worldwide through virtual coffee chats and team-building activities.

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Host your Stadium webinars and receive peer feedback on your ability to drive platform engagement.

  • Identify and execute your updates on the Engagement Academy to align with the latest product releases.

  • Define your quarterly priorities in relation to the Support & Services roadmap with your coach.

  • Actively contribute to our internal knowledge base (Confluence) to share best practices on platform usage and client engagement.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Lead a project to improve the One-to-Many strategy (e.g., new webinar formats, gamification of the Academy, or localized content).

  • Participate in Discovery Meetings with Product Managers to share insights on how clients actually use and adopt the platform.

  • Analyze Academy completion rates and Stadium satisfaction scores to iterate on the training Catalog.

  • Build new processes and update Confluence with the information needed for the team’s daily work.

Within 12 months, you will:

  • Onboard and mentor new Trainers, teaching them how to turn platform features into compelling learning stories.

  • Take full ownership of a recurring team pillar (e.g.,being the internal referral for complex solution training).

  • Develop advanced toolkits and training paths based on the most successful client use cases.

The Skills Set:

  • 3+ years of successful experience as a Trainer OR successful client-facing experience in Customer Success/Care.

  • You are recognized for your listening and teaching skills
